Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center is a regional center for environmental education and outdoor recreation located in beautiful Kandiyohi County in west central Minnesota. Smithsonian Water/Ways Exhibit
The exhibit will be open seven days a week with special programs offered each week.
In addition to the Smithsonsian Water/Ways exhibit, you will want to check out "The Art of Erosion" display by John White, as well as We Are Water-MN exhibits by MPCA, DNR, MN Dept of Health and exhibits specific to Kandiyohi County which will run concurrently with the Smithsonian exhibit through August 7th.

Voyager Canoe rides on Ringo Lake (with token after viewing exhibit) Thursday, July 14th from 7:00-9:00.
Full Moon Canoe Tuesday, July 19th 7:30-9:30 at PWELC. ($7/person)
MN Pollution Control Agency presentation on Minnesota's Impaired Lakes Thursday, July 21 7pm.
Water Colors with Paula Lunquist Saturday, July 23rd 10:30-11:45. ($25/person)
Lorax puppet show Thursday, August 4 at 3:30.

The Prairie Woods Pavilion- The excitement is building!
Genesis Architects are completing the design for the Prairie Woods Pavilion which will be located at the PWELC farmsite.
With generous early contributions from our Prairie Stars, invidual donors and support pledged by Kandiyohi County we have already raised over $200,000 for the project.
